PETA ranks University among ‘worst’ for animal testing

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals issued a press release last week naming the University of Michigan as one of the “worst” universities for animal testing. PETA’s “Failed Tests: Campus Cruelty Report” investigated hundreds of universities across the country and ranked them as “bad,” “worse” and “worst.” PETA ranked U-M as one of the 93 schools categorized as “worst,” a distinction given to only about 14 percent of the 657 colleges investigated.
